Alison Fung began dancing at age 13 studying jazz and tap with Sonoo Petty and ballet with Shan-Yee Poon in San Francisco. She went on to pursue her B.A. in World Arts and Cultures with an emphasis in dance at UCLA while training at the Debbie Allen Dance Academy. Alison has had the pleasure of dancing with NSU Modern, DADA Ensemble, Synapse Contemporary Dance Company, the Movement movement, and Team Ferosha. She’s very excited to be dancing with KDT for a second season.

Brittany Midiri a new member to Kybele Dance, was born and raised in Southern California and has been dancing since the age of 5. She graduated from the University of California, Irvine with her BFA in Dance Performance and is also a dancer for Diavolo’s Education Company.  She is excited to be a part of this project and is always thankful for the constant support of her family and friends!

Caitlin Negron began her dance training at Fort Wayne Ballet in Fort Wayne, Indiana. She then went on to study at Southern Methodist University in Dallas, Texas where she summa cum luade with degree a B.F.A. in Dance Performance and B.A. in Anthropology. While at SMU Caitlin choreographed for the student run Brown Bag Dance Series and led choreographic workshops. Caitlin has also studied at Richmond Ballet, American Ballet Theater, American Dance Festival, The Martha Graham School of Contemporary Dance and with Thodos Dance Chicago. She has performed in works by Martha Graham, George Balanchine, Alvin Ailey, Sabrina Madison-Cannon, Larry White, David Hochoy, Cynthia Pratt, Winifred Haun, Erica Rose Jeffrey and Roberta Wong.  Caitlin danced with Dance Kaleidoscope under the direction of David Hochoy for four wonderful seasons. She co-founded and serves as the executive director of The Indy Convergence- an organization that holds two week workshops for professional artists seeking to collaborate across disciplines.

Daniele Della Gala Born in upstate New York and raised in Southern California, Daniele discovered a love for dance at the tender age of 3 when she performed for pre-parade spectators at a well-known amusement park. Over the past 17 years she has performed for audiences at Southern California colleges, openings for Independent films, and charity as well as multi-cultural events. She is thrilled to share the stage with KDT, comprised of loving and dedicated dancers.

Jeanna Riscigno began dancing at Mid Maryland Performing Arts Center and continued her studies at 24/7 Dance Studio, both located in Frederick MD. During High School, she was a member of Zelda Darby's hip hop crew, R.A.W., which placed second at the Apollo Theater in Harlem, NY. For the last five years Jeanna has trained each summer with the NY based dance company: Pushing Progress.   She graduated from Frederick Community College with her Associates in Business Administration and fromTowson University with her B.F.A. in Dance Performance.  Each year she performed for Towson's Dance Company and studied abroad a semester at the Palucca Shule Conservatory in Dresden, Germany. In 2009, Jeanna performed Nicole Martinell's piece, Muffle the Puppet, which was selected for ACDF's Gala Concert and 2010 was honored to receive the ‘Excellence in Dance Award’ from Towson’s Dance Department. Now dancing with Kybele Dance Theater, Jeanna is excited to begin a new chapter here in the Los Angeles area!

Masha A. Balovlenkov began her artistic career in musical theater, but found dancing during high school while studying at the Peabody Conservatory.  Growing up in Baltimore, she began her professional career as principal dancer with AirDance Bernasconi \while attending Goucher College.  Also during her time at Goucher, she performed with Robert Moses, Roger Jeffrey, and Kevin Iega Jeff.  She received a degree in dance with distinction and upon graduation, Mr. Jeff offered her a position as apprentice with Deeply Rooted Dance Theater in Chicago. While living Chicago, she performed with Paul Sanasardo, Dmitri Peskov, Nana Shineflug and Nathaniel Trice. She also choreographed for United Artist Pictures: The Express, a Ford Fiesta Commercial, The Josh Weckesser Dance Spectacular, Dance Chicago, and the independent film Life Lessons.  This is her first season with Kybele Dance Theater.
